Overview
In this role you support patient access by aligning UCB therapeutic options with the right HCPs in Scotland and Northern Ireland. You work from the UK Rheumatology team, building deep cross-functional relationships to connect resources at the right time. You tailor omni-channel approaches and execute territory plans to support optimal patient care. You drive value for patients by navigating NHS knowledge and funding pathways, while aiming to achieve sales targets. This is a hybrid, field-based role with a strong impact on patient outcomes and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities
- Serve as single point of contact for HCPs, applying deep knowledge of UCB solutions to connect the right resource at the right time
- Tailor omni-channel tools to influence HCPs based on personal preferences
- Define and execute an impactful tactical plan within the territory
- Coordinate two-way stakeholder management as part of a cross-functional team to support optimal patient care
- Build strong business relationships with HCPs in the assigned territory
- Match UCB therapeutic options to targeted HCPs patient populations using tailored communication and tools
- Achieve assigned sales targets and agreed business objectives
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Pharmaceutical or health care management experience (e.g. ABPI examination)
- Proven track record in key account/project management and influencing key health care customers
- Experience/knowledge in rheumatology or immunology
- National and sub-national NHS knowledge plus disease, market and competitive intelligence expertise
- Understanding of funding pathways and processes for high-cost branded medicines
- Demonstrable top-tier sales success in a specialist area, ideally high-cost medicines in rheumatology
- Experience with launching new drugs in rheumatology is advantageous
