Associate Director / Director – Real Estate Advisory

Overview

In this role you drive value from residential and mixed-use schemes within London and the South East, aligning development activity with public-sector goals. You’ll lead and coordinate a cross‑functional team to deliver accurate property responses, and work on partnerships and procurement for transformation programmes. The position centers on rationalising public sector portfolios, governance, and value generation, with a focus on PPPs and Development Agreements. You will operate at both political and practical levels to shape strategic outcomes and client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand the property development cycle in London/SE and prevailing values and costs for mixed-use schemes
• Advise on residential/mixed-use projects to maximise value and marketability; engage specialist sector advice as needed
• Familiarity with public/private partnership options including Development Agreements
• Understand public-sector procurement processes for selecting development partners
• Develop understanding of transformation programmes in the public sector to achieve rationalisation, economies, and value
• Motivate and manage a professional, multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated property responses
• Understand public sector governance and Red Book requirements
• Manage junior team members
