Proposals Manager / Senior Proposals Manager (Fit-Out)

Overview

As Proposals Manager in the Fit-Out team, you drive the end-to-end bid process for EOIs, PQQs and tender submissions, translating complex technical content into persuasive client-focused responses. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft win themes and compelling proposals that differentiate Willmott Dixon in the London fit-out market. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on bid writing and presentation support, helping the business secure private-sector opportunities. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, shaping messaging, visuals and content to win opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead EOIs, PQQs, tender submissions and D&B bids from strategy to submission
• Collaborate with Fit-Out leadership, project teams, estimators, designers and planners to shape proposals
• Develop win themes and differentiators aligned with client priorities
• Convert technical, commercial and operational information into clear, client-focused responses
• Lead answer planning sessions, bid workshops and tender reviews
• Shape the overall look, feel and messaging of bids to be engaging and concise
• Support client presentations, tender interviews and pitch material
• Manage submission programmes and contributors to meet deadlines
• Capture and develop project experiences, case studies and reusable content

Key requirements

• Strong experience writing, editing and managing high-quality construction or fit-out bids
• Experience developing compelling win themes and applying them across submissions
• Experience with EOIs, PQQs and competitive tenders, including Design & Build
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive client content
• Experience facilitating answer planning, win-theme workshops and tender reviews
• Strong organisational and resource-planning skills with tight deadlines
• Confident working with senior leaders, project teams and technical specialists
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience using Adobe InDesign
