Assistant Manager, Transaction Services

Overview

As an Assistant Manager in Transaction Services, you will support buy-side and sell-side engagements across a diverse client portfolio. You’ll lead and quality-check FDD and VDD deliverables, assess earnings quality and working capital, and identify debt-like items. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for FDD execution and help nurture client relationships while mentoring junior team members. This role sits within a dynamic Deal Advisory practice supporting Interpath’s growth and global client base.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports
• Evaluate Quality of Earnings to identify extraordinary income and costs affecting earnings
• Analyze and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) based on historical trends
• Identify debt-like items through balance sheet and off-balance-sheet review
• Critically assess target forecasts, outlining risks and opportunities
• Engage in client meetings and serve as the primary contact for day-to-day FDD execution
• Strengthen client relationships while mentoring associates within the team

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3–5 years’ experience in Audit, Financial Services, or related field
• Chartered Accountancy or similar qualifications preferred
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven client relationship management
• Business development experience advantageous but not mandatory
