B1 Licensed Engineer – Prestwick (Line Maintenance)

Overview

In this role you will perform line maintenance and defect rectification on Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets, handle AOG recoveries, and uphold safety and regulatory standards. You will report to the Regions Station Manager and mentor junior staff, contributing to a fast-paced, hands-on maintenance environment. The position supports Ryanair’s growth and fleet expansion, offering opportunities for progression within a leading European airline. You will work with cross-functional teams to keep operations compliant and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintain a safe, compliant working environment per procedures and regulations
• Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience
• B1 License holder (EASA or UK CAA Part-66)
• 737-Max Type Endorsement and recency (desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good IT literacy with AMOS experience (desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
• 5 years maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA Module 9 & 10 if required (UK CAA route)
