Full Stack Developer – Structured Products Trading & Operations

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the Totoro trading and risk system within Global Markets IT, delivering robust full‑stack solutions across trading, risk management and operations. You will work closely with quants, front office and IT teams to enable strategic improvements and maintain critical systems. The position offers front‑office exposure, cross‑functional collaboration and a chance to shape modernization efforts in a global bank. You will be responsible for high‑quality delivery and support, driving continuous improvement with a practical, delivery‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple areas of the Totoro system covering trading, risk management, operational tools and reference data management using Python and React components
• Contribute to modernization by adopting current industry standards and practices
• Collaborate with quants, front office and other IT/corporate teams to implement practical, scalable solutions
• Deliver high‑quality solutions as part of a collaborative team and promote continuous improvement and innovation
• Provide second‑line support to the business for system and business issues

Key requirements

• Python development skills with understanding of development lifecycle and testing
• Experience with modern development methodologies and tools
• Full‑stack proficiency, ideally React/TypeScript
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Experience in front office environment, trading or risk management platforms, with domain knowledge
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Strong problem solving and project management skills
• Attention to detail and proactive, high‑quality output
• Excellent communication across global functions
• Experience with SDLC stack using Git, Ansible, Kubernetes and Jenkins (ideal)
• Must be versed in modern development methodologies
