Product Specialist – Robotic & Manual, North-West

Overview

As a Product Specialist for Stryker’s orthopedic portfolio, you support growth in the North-West by promoting hip and knee products to surgeons and strengthening customer service. You will provide frontline clinical and technical support during Mako procedures and work closely with the Sales Team to expand existing accounts. Independent by nature, you apply deep domain expertise to resolve issues and optimize patient outcomes. This role offers exposure to robotics-enabled surgery and cross-functional collaboration at pace.

Responsibilities

• Promote hip and knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and grow existing accounts through technical expertise
• Provide clinical product support to end users during Mako procedures
• Train and guide surgeons and hospital staff in the use of the Mako robot including setup and intra-operative activities
• Prepare pre-operative CT scans and assist with implant planning, sizing, and positioning using proprietary software
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to Field Service as needed
• Collaborate with Sales Team, RSM, and other departments to maintain customer satisfaction and drive business results
• Manage IT-based customer database/CRM tools and participate in planning and organization with mentor/manager
• Develop short/medium-term strategies with customers to strengthen Stryker’s position
• Address challenges with customers and develop solutions with team support
• Engage in in-house meetings to improve knowledge, skills, and business outcomes
• Maintain a high level of product and application knowledge across robotic and manual procedures

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent and minimum 2+ years clinical experience
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to travel 70%+
• Excellent spoken and written English
