Associate Mechanical Engineer – New Team

Overview

In this Mechanical Associate role, you will help shape the direction of our Energy Transition team in Central London as part of a global practice. You’ll drive design strategies for carbon-neutral and future-proof buildings while aligning with the broader mission to advance sustainable energy and water management. You’ll lead medium-sized projects and contribute to larger initiatives through design and construction, collaborating with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. The role offers scope to influence business development, bid leadership, and integration with R&D to bring cutting-edge technologies to market. This is a hands-on position with a clear impact on zero-carbon goals,

Responsibilities

• Shape the direction and growth strategy of the Energy Transition team
• Report to the Technical Director within the team
• Lead medium-sized projects and contribute to large-scale projects during design and construction
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and design teams to deliver projects
• Spearhead commercial bids to win new projects
• Drive innovation by coordinating with R&D to commercialize new technologies
• Support the mission of achieving zero carbon and advancing a circular economy
