Overview

In this Senior Data Consultant role, you will lead data-driven problem solving for clients across mobility, infrastructure and energy sectors. You’ll shape solutions within the Data & Insights team, balancing technical delivery with stakeholder engagement and business development. You work on diverse projects from analytics engineering to strategic modelling, driving impact through data-informed decisions. This is a collaborative, growth-focused opportunity in a global consultancy with a start-up mindset.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with stakeholders to gather information, identify root causes and build strong relationships
• Present results and concepts clearly to varied audiences, adapting technical content as needed
• Provide active, honest input and foster open discussion
• Lead technical project delivery by designing solutions, coding, and performing analysis using Agile methods
• Improve operational performance using data and management techniques
• Provide technical oversight to data scientists and identify data-driven opportunities to shape solutions
• Act as Project Manager on suitable projects
• Support team growth through participation in development activities and operational tasks
• Identify and pursue opportunities and contribute to tenders and bids
• Seek continuous improvement of technical and non-technical skills with team support

Key requirements

• Proven senior experience in related areas (problem solving, leadership, communication)
• Strong data manipulation and analysis skills
• Programming in Python and SQL (additional languages a benefit)
• Dashboarding and data visualization with Tableau and/or Power BI, including Matplotlib/seaborn
• Version control experience (Git)
• Experience contributing to and improving technical playbooks
• Solid knowledge of statistical methods
• Management consulting methodologies and tools
• Experience in Business Analytics and data-driven decision making
• Agile training and effective implementation of Agile principles
• Client communication, presentation and storytelling of technical concepts
• Project management to deliver on time, budget, and scope
