Overview

In this role you will shape Urban Outfitters’ marketing strategy for UK and Europe, leading brand positioning and campaigns to grow awareness and sales. You will work closely with creative, paid media and web teams to deliver resonant, culturally relevant initiatives across markets. The position combines strategic vision with hands-on delivery to connect with diverse audiences and support the brand’s creative and commercial goals. You will drive cross-functional collaboration and measure impact against key business KPIs, with a strong emphasis on omni-channel experiences and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategy and positioning to grow the European audience and drive sales across product categories
  • Lead annual, seasonal and monthly marketing plans including goals, briefs, timelines and budgets
  • Align in-store and digital initiatives to enhance the omni-customer experience
  • Collaborate with paid marketing and creative teams to deliver impactful campaigns with measurable results
  • Coordinate with web marketing to optimize overall marketing spend and outcomes
  • Own marketing KPIs and report progress to leadership including MD, Creative Director and FD
  • Forecast and optimize the financial impact of brand marketing initiatives with Finance
  • Create regional nuance for international markets and champion youth-driven brand voice
  • Set and grow social strategy and partnerships for Europe; identify content trends and editorial ideas
  • Design and manage IRL events, partnerships and store openings to boost cultural relevance and engagement
  • Explore opportunities to enhance retail spaces with external partnerships and new rewards activations
  • Lead, develop and manage a large cross-functional team across brand marketing, talent, social/content, partnerships, experiential and project management
