Senior Cost Manager- Cardiff/ Bristol

Overview

In this role you will support delivering multi-million pound infrastructure programmes for UK clients, focusing on commercial delivery and cost management. You will join the contract and cost management team within the UK Infrastructure practice, working with diverse clients across the Water and Civils sectors. The role requires client-facing advisory work, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and travel to client offices as needed. You will contribute to improving project value and efficiency while upholding Turner & Townsend’s culture and quality standards. This is an opportunity to shape major infrastructure deliverables and drive better outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide experience-led commercial advice to clients on capital programmes
• Manage contract activities and governance within NEC3 framework (Option A, C & E preferred)
• Oversee cost management, change control, valuations and reporting
• Lead risk management, procurement, estimating and pricing for projects
• Drive efficiencies and best practices across the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge to improve project outcomes
• Support people management and capability development within the team
• Identify and implement value management and value engineering opportunities
• Support SOX control responsibilities where applicable
