Overview
You join the onsite engineering team to perform preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, aiming to improve reliability, availability, and capacity to manufacturing standards. The role supports safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across projects and operations. You will work with external contractors, oversee maintenance tasks, and contribute to KPI-driven site performance. This is a hands-on, safety‑driven role with meaningful impact on equipment performance and site compliance.

- rotational shift: 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am (four on, four off)

Responsibilities
- Provide reactive and proactive maintenance on operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
- Liaise with external contractors, request RAMS, induct personnel, issue permits to work, and oversee on-site contractor works
- Execute planned maintenance (PMs, RMs, CMs) via CMMS and ensure timely completion
- Participate in projects and CI initiatives by identifying deficiencies and recommending process/training improvements
- Assist administration of CMMS (Frontline) to maintain accuracy for maintenance and stock activities
Key requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- BS7671 18th edition (advantageous)
- Previous health and safety training
- Familiar with continuous improvement (CI)
