Technical Coordinator – Residential Developer – London

Overview

In this Technical Coordinator role for a London-based residential developer, you will support the technical team from inception to completion of new build schemes. You’ll coordinate drawing packages with the architectural team and liaise with commercial and production to ensure timely delivery. You’ll challenge design information across disciplines and help manage project programmes and critical paths. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to grow within a growing, well-regarded housebuilder.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drawing packages with architectural team to ensure on-time delivery
• Liaise with commercial and production teams during development
• Question and clarify design information across disciplines
• Interrogate project programmes and identify critical paths
• Support senior technical manager and manage processes and time across projects

Key requirements

• 5+ years of residential developer experience on multiple new build developments
• Strong knowledge of development/technical design process
• Experience with detailed design for residential schemes (RC frame and timber frame)
• Ability to question and query design information across all disciplines
• Architectural background; AutoCAD beneficial
• Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and sustainability
• Ability to understand and interrogate design and project programmes; identify critical paths
• Degree level education or relevant professional qualification
• Strong communication across all disciplines; well organized; detail-oriented; able to manage people and time
• Strong team player with effective communication skills
