As a Solution Engineer for the UK Public Sector, you will combine technical depth with business insight to articulate value during sales opportunities. You’ll work with Alliances, Sales, Marketing and Product to deliver compelling demos, PoCs and technical briefings that address central government challenges. Your role is hands-on, presenting complex concepts clearly and building trust with stakeholders through value-driven discussions. You’ll operate across events, customer meetings, and webinars to showcase capabilities and thought leadership, contributing to strategic wins. Responsibilities
- Be the technical and functional expert on Quantexa’s platform and real-world use cases
- Demonstrate platform value and address central government pain points
- Represent the company at events, meetings, and webinars
- Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle alongside Sales, Architects, and Product
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and RFIs
- Own design and execution of PoCs and trials aligned to customer objectives
- Collaborate on tailored solutions with partners, customers, and internal teams
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations to a range of stakeholders
- Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover business and technical needs
Key requirements
- Experience in a commercially focused, hands-on technical role (Solution Engineering, Presales, or Technical Consulting)
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication with proven customer engagement
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with UK public sector clients and central government challenges
- Proven PoC or early implementation leadership (workshops, prototypes, demos)
- Confident presenting and pitching to connect functionality to business value
- Experience building demos, templates, or enablement materials
