Air Conditioning Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service and install commercial air conditioning systems across sites in Cambridgeshire, delivering safe, high-quality engineering work. You will represent the business on client sites and handle Fault diagnosis and system performance improvements. You’ll join a well-established contractor offering varied work and clear paths for career progression, with overtime opportunities and a focus on professional on-site delivery. Responsibilities

• Work across diversified commercial A/C systems on multiple sites (split, multi-split, VRF/VRV)
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues
• Conduct work safely and maintain professional on-site presence
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure service quality and project outcomes
• Support on-site commissioning and routine maintenance activities
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards
• Support overtime opportunities as needed
• Contribute to long-term career development within the growing contractor

Key requirements

• F-Gas Certification (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
• Experience with split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial air conditioning
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve issues
• Good health & safety understanding
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
