Gen AI Workflow Designer, Env/DMP (Brahma AI – A DNEG Dedicated Unit of Brahma)

Overview

In this role you design and maintain efficient GenAI workflows for audiovisual production, mainly using ComfyUI. You collaborate with GenAI, research and creative teams to evolve templates into scalable pipelines deployed across shows. You bridge creative and technical teams to deliver production-ready solutions and contribute to the in-house ComfyUI environment. This is a hands-on role that blends pipeline development with production support and documentation, shaping cutting-edge GenAI workflows for a global VFX and Feature Animation studio.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain efficient workflows for deploying audiovisual GenAI models, primarily using ComfyUI
• Collaborate with GenAI and research teams to develop, evaluate, and refine workflow templates with state-of-the-art tools
• Collaborate with creative multi-disciplinary teams to transition templatable workflows into scalable solutions
• Collaborate with GenAI show team to deliver shots in active Production when needed
• Maintain and develop the custom ComfyUI environment alongside the Gen AI pipeline team
• Create structured training documentation describing the workflows for adoption by creative teams

Key requirements

• ADVANCED ComfyUI user with experience creating custom workflows, nodes and pipelines
• Background in Digital Matte Painting
• Knowledge of advanced matte painting techniques (color space, digital paint, Photoshop file management)
• Technical proficiency in photography (composition, depth, lighting, color)
• Understanding of basic 3D Environment projection and integration
• Proven ability to implement tools and techniques into wider custom pipelines
• Ability to evaluate and present other model deployment platforms and contribute to in-house alternatives
• Strong communication with both Creative and Technical teams
• Professional experience testing photoreal generative models, ideally for video
• Active engagement with Gen AI communities and offerings across open/closed sources
