European Equity Analyst

Overview

You join a global asset manager as an Investment Analyst focused on European small-cap equities. You will conduct rigorous bottom-up research, engage with companies, and develop high-conviction investment ideas to influence portfolio decisions. You collaborate with experienced professionals to deliver differentiated insights and build one-to-one relationships with management teams. Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental bottom-up equity research and industry analysis to identify opportunities
• Generate and document investment ideas through independent research and engagement with company management and industry experts
• Lead company meetings and articulate insights for the investment team
• Perform financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence to develop high-conviction recommendations
• Prepare stock and sector reviews to support portfolio decisions
• Travel across Europe for on-site research, meetings, and conferences

Key requirements

• Experience in equity research, stock picking, or investment analysis (preferably European markets)
• Experience with small-cap or mid-cap companies (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Data analytics and AI skills are preferred
