Fund Accounting Senior Specialist

Overview

In this role you will serve as a subject-matter expert for valuation, NAV and fund accounting across UK OEICs, Luxembourg SICAVs, Irish UCITS, Investment Trusts and Hedge Funds. You will drive fund change activity from launches to closures, and manage complex client transitions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will analyze regulatory changes and their impact, ensuring fair treatment of investors during large redemptions and supporting swing pricing and performance fee models. Responsibilities

• Lead fund launches and closures, mergers and restructures, in-specie transfers and large client transitions for multiple fund types
• Coordinate fund operations product change activities to ensure alignment across teams
• Understand balance sheet and P&L implications for governance and reporting
• Analyze regulatory change requirements and assess impact with Product, Compliance and TPAs
• Coordinate large redemptions processes and liquidity tools with stakeholders
• Assist with Swing Pricing Policy analysis and effectiveness assessments
• Assist with complex NAV issues and resolution of stakeholder queries
• Test and implement performance fee models
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• Extensive Fund Accounting and NAV experience with swing pricing, fair value and performance fees
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility with sound judgment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to relate to stakeholders
• Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities
• Enthusiastic, approachable, collaborative across teams
• Good working knowledge of Excel
