Overview

As a Commercial Manager you will lead a team of Senior Quantity Surveyors on large, multi-million pound mixed-use regeneration schemes. You will oversee developments from pre-production through to completion, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery. You will manage sub-contractors, payments, re-measures, and site orders, coordinating a high-quality build with strong commercial oversight. This role suits an experienced surveyor looking to assume leadership and influence on major regeneration projects. You will work within a leading developer known for ambitious, quality-driven schemes, making a visible impact on high-profile builds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee developments from pre-production to completion with focus on cost control and schedule
• Delegate work to senior surveyors and coordinate their activities
• Manage sub-contractors and their payments, including re-measures, account meetings and site orders

Key requirements

• Several years’ experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
• Concrete frame experience on complex, mixed-use projects
• Strong commercial sense and people management ability
• Excellent communication skills
• RICS or CIOB qualification
