Overview

As a Manager in Audit & Accounting Related Tax Services, you will oversee day-to-day tax reporting engagements and coordinate with audit teams, clients, and the AARTS network. You’ll support business growth with the AARTS leadership, supervise and develop junior staff, and ensure high-quality tax disclosures and compliance. You will nurture client relationships across a portfolio and share technical insights with the team. This role sits at the intersection of tax, accounting, and advisory work within a global professional services firm.

Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, coordinating with audit teams, clients, and the AARTS team
  • Support business growth by working with AARTS leadership
  • Review, test, and document technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and advisers
  • Delegate work to junior colleagues while ensuring quality and timetables
  • Develop and maintain client relationships across a portfolio
  • Foster internal relationships with audit teams and other departments
  • Mentor and develop junior staff
  • Keep up to date and share technical insights with the AARTS team

Key requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate taxation and awareness of international tax issues
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles including accounting for tax, deferred tax and disclosures
  • Understanding of tax accounting concepts under IFRS and UK GAAP (US GAAP desirable)
