Overview
In this role you support the senior manager in monitoring financial reporting for our investment trust and hedge fund ranges. You will liaise with TPAs, auditors, and boards, ensuring accurate statutory accounts and board papers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project work around launches, closures, or corporate transactions. Responsibilities
- Oversee financial board papers for investment trusts
- Supervise statutory accounts prepared by third-party administrators
- Coordinate with internal teams on reporting matters
- Liaise with auditors during the audit process
- Address ad hoc financial queries and support fund teams
- Present financial reports to boards
- Support fund range launches/closures and corporate transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- Accounting knowledge of investment trust reporting framework (AIC SORP, hedge fund accounts, UK GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build stakeholder relationships
- Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work independently
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Willingness to work with Copilot and explore AI in operating models
- Unknown experience with third-party providers is a bonus
