Data Migration Analyst

Overview

In this role you will drive data migration initiatives for a leading wealth tech firm. You will liaise with clients, manage implementations, and configure the client’s main product during onboarding and go-live. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, On-boarding, and Service Delivery to capture requirements, cleanse data, and ensure accurate migrations. This is a client-facing, technically hybrid role with strong emphasis on SQL, data extraction, and process improvement. You will shape how the business uses client data and contribute to a high-growth, bleeding-edge fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and manage data migration projects from extraction to go-live
• Collaborate with On-boarding to capture and configure data migration requirements
• Support sales with new account acquisitions and client onboarding
• Assist data cleansing and data extraction process design
• Create SQL scripts to aid data cleansing and migration
• Coordinate with Service Delivery to ensure scripts meet migration requirements
• Contribute to business analysis for new data extracts and import services
• Engage with leadership to shape data usage strategy across the business

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Business Analyst / Data Analyst in Financial Services
• Strong SQL, Excel, and VBA skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
• Project coordination / management capability
• Experience with data migration, data cleansing, and data extraction
• Degree: 1st or 2:1 in Business / Computing / Maths / Economics-based subject
