Shiny App Developer

Overview

In this role you will help build data-driven solutions for Clinical Operations, collaborating with leads to deliver analytics, visualization, and accessible data products. You will contribute to Shiny-based applications and dashboards, validating data products that streamline study workflows. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll develop both custom and enterprise solutions and drive process improvements to boost operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Evaluate data needs for projects and advise on study-design tailored approaches
• Develop innovative data products, primarily Shiny applications, with clinical ops partners
• Interact with relational data for query, wrangling, analysis, and reporting at study and enterprise levels
• Support departmental process improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s in informatics, computer science/engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, or related field
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects on a sprint schedule
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Programming experience in R or Python
• Work experience with clinical data
• Experience building Shiny web applications and dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, or Spotfire) is preferred
