Technical Account Manager II – Korean Game Partners

Overview

In this role you will ensure top-tier experiences for PlayStation game developers by bridging technical and business perspectives. You will manage partner relationships across global teams and advocate for developers inside PlayStation to influence decisions. You’ll identify risks, support needs, and opportunities, while owning the accounts and titles you work on. This position offers hands-on technical collaboration with DTG engineers and travel to key partner sites to drive successful launches and ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Lead partner relationships and align global teams on a consistent service approach
• Bridge technical and business aspects by collaborating with DTG engineers and business account management
• Meet with accounts to proactively identify risks, support needs, and opportunities
• Build long-term relationships with technical decision-makers and influencers
• Maintain ownership of accounts and titles, prioritizing issue resolution
• Collect partner feedback and champion it within PlayStation
• Recommend and promote standard methodologies to licensed partners
• Provide onsite support and training; contribute to training events, postmortems, and advisory panels
• Frequent travel to Japan and Korea to visit SIE offices and partner locations

Key requirements

• Engineering experience with hands-on exposure to game SDKs
• strong understanding of Korean game development culture / ecosystem
• Understanding of general development pipelines for games
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an eye toward providing excellent customer support
• Familiarity with development tools and ability to quickly familiarize with new deeply technical projects in development
• Operate independently while working effectively across a broader global team at partner sites
• Willing to travel and coordinate with leverage technical expertise in other groups to tackle issues
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in the industry
• Proficiency in English and Korean languages
