Video Content Producer

Overview

As a Video Content Producer, you own the video workflow for Christiane Amanpour Presents: The Ex Files and The Crime Agents, from concept to delivery. You will shape editorially driven long-form and short-form content for YouTube, Global Player and socials, while upholding high production and storytelling standards. You collaborate with producers to plan, shoot, edit and refine content, influencing the visual identity and formats of both shows. This role offers creative ownership, cross-team collaboration, and the chance to push innovative video storytelling at scale.

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver long-form and short-form video with strong editorial judgment, including multicamera switching, graphics, and narrative pacing; adapt content for multiple platforms and ensure quality control across deliverables.
• Produce and shoot studio, remote and off-site recordings, mastering camera operation, lighting, framing and audio for multi-camera setups.
• Own day-to-day video ownership for assigned shows, contribute ideas in editorial discussions, influence visual identity, manage priorities and communicate risks clearly.

Key requirements

• Strong video editing skills with Adobe Premiere and multi-camera editing experience.
• Proficient in shooting with professional camera equipment across studio and location settings; solid lighting, framing and audio understanding.
• Good editorial judgment with a keen eye for pacing, reactions and visual storytelling.
• Experience creating engaging long-form and short-form digital video and understanding of YouTube and social platforms.
• Producer mindset with ownership, forward-thinking, problem-solving and creative input.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
