Overview
In this role you will advise on high-value, contentious employment matters for clients in financial and professional services. You’ll operate within a nationally recognised Employment Practice Group, handling High Court disputes, injunctions, and complex agreements in a collaborative, supportive setting. The position offers exposure to precedent-setting cases and cross-border projects, with hybrid flexibility and clear career progression. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to protect clients’ interests while advancing the firm’s employment practice.

Responsibilities
- Advise on contentious employment matters including breach of contract and injunctions
- Handle team moves, restrictive covenants, and confidential information disputes
- Draft complex employment contracts and LLP arrangements
- Support clients in financial services and professional sectors
- Contribute to practice initiatives and cross-border projects
Key requirements
- 3+ years PQE in employment law with focus on High Court disputes and/or arbitration
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive, ambitious, and commercial mindset
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team
- Experience or knowledge of financial services conduct and regulatory issues (advantageous)
