Overview

As Cost and Funding Analyst you will help deliver trusted cost management across the Digital, Technology & Data function. You’ll run and improve internal recharge processes, ensure accurate cost attribution, and provide funding insights to support investment decisions. You’ll work with DT&D and Finance stakeholders to maintain data integrity and present actionable recommendations. The role offers visibility from day one and opportunities to shape future reporting and processes in a purpose-driven, member-focused organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Run and improve end-to-end internal recharge processes to deliver accurate, timely outputs
  • Maintain recharge rules, rate cards, and supporting documentation
  • Analyse large datasets to generate insights and practical recommendations
  • Collaborate with Finance and DT&D to ensure data integrity and consistent financial treatment
  • Provide cost and funding information to support tracking, investment decisions and value-for-money assessments
  • Present insights and options to stakeholders across the business
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and reduce manual activity
  • Build strong relationships across DT&D and Finance to inform decisions

Key requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large, complex datasets
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to identify trends and risks from data
  • Experience supporting recharge, cost allocation, funding, or similar financial analysis
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and business stories
  • Confidence presenting information and influencing stakeholders at different levels
