Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist on the Disney+ Analytics & Insights EMEA team, you will deliver advanced data science projects and forecasting models that uncover customer trends and drive engagement. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders across Content, Subscriber Growth, and Local teams to productionalise insights. You will design end-to-end forecasting solutions and continually improve model accuracy. This role sits in London, combining hands-on analytics with storytelling to influence business decisions and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy the engagement forecast model end-to-end
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate insights and productionalise results
  • Tackle ad hoc modelling requests from stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain semantic models and extend to agentic AI solutions
  • Advise across Disney+ to support data science driven projects
  • Support insight analysts to ensure robust results and best practices
  • Foster relationships with Global and International Analytics and Data Science teams
  • Explore and apply existing Global data science tools in the EMEA context

Key requirements

  • Proficient in SQL
  • Significant experience in Python, R or other statistical language
  • Familiarity with agentic AI solutions preferred
  • 4+ years in data science roles
  • Strong grounding in experimentation design, time-series forecasting and causal impact methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience using consumer behavioural data preferred
