Overview

In this role you join a team building ultra-fast, mission-critical trading platforms in a global finance environment. You will contribute to core C++ development of a proprietary server and high-speed messaging system, operating in a demanding real-time setting. Responsibilities

• Develop a proprietary server technology and a very-high-speed message bus
• Work in a real-time, low-latency environment using up-to-date compiler toolsets and OS APIs
• Collaborate with a team of expert C++ programmers to advance trading technology
• Engage in a learning-driven environment with strong emphasis on training for juniors

Key requirements

• Excellent C++ skills with STL/Boost and fluent in template-based design
• Bachelor with 2:1 or above in mathematics, computer science or comparable scientific discipline
• At least 1 Science A level with good results
• Motivated with a professional approach to work
• Some development experience and willingness to enter financial services or a demanding technical environment
