Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications and services
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements
• Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and security
• Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and continuous improvement
• Manage project timelines, delivery risks, and dependencies
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate adoption where appropriate
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development

Key requirements

• Proven software engineering experience with a track record of leading successful projects
• Proficiency in Java
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Skills with web servers and databases (DynamoDB, RDBMS, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
