Risk Systems and Data Management Analyst, New Business Intake

Overview

In this role you will ensure data integrity and system reliability to support client onboarding and matter management in the New Business Intake function. You’ll act as a subject matter expert for data quality, enabling compliant, efficient processes and a smooth user experience for lawyers and staff. You will drive improvements to data practices, reporting, and risk-system usage, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position offers meaningful impact through elevating data governance and system performance in a global law firm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity in Intapp Open and Conflicts, including client/matter records and alert placement
• Update key client/matter data per maintenance protocols and escalate high-impact issues
• Identify data quality issues and propose practical solutions
• Assist with training materials and learning content on data management
• Coordinate stakeholder communications to ensure process effectiveness and document requirements
• Support data-management improvements and participate in internal testing for new functionality
• Develop and maintain data reports/dashboards to support operational insights and contract adherence
• Create ad-hoc reports using Intapp Open, Intapp Time and SAP
• Build relationships with Data Management Risk Systems team and stakeholders
• Support process improvements and provide ideas for efficiency

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and research skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Team player with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Good planning, time management and prioritization
• Ability to work independently and liaise with other departments
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and other productivity tool skills
• Tableau or Power BI data visualization experience
• Knowledge of Intapp Open and Intapp Conflicts is advantageous
