Overview

As Senior Manager in EY’s FAAS Finance Optimisation, you will steer complex client problems, driving value through policy, process, data and technology. You’ll lead client relationships, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and shape innovative solutions in a dynamic environment influenced by AI and evolving regulations. You’ll play a key role in strategy, business development, and quality risk management while delivering high-impact insights. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of engagements, managing risks and delivering client-focused outcomes
• Build and manage client relationships, guiding strategic and operational decisions
• Drive firm-wide campaigns and business development, shaping high-quality proposals
• Create and present reports and solutions for clients, articulating problem statements and recommendations
• Oversee internal quality, risk management on projects, and governance
• Develop FAAS teams’ functional and technical capabilities and foster inclusive, high-performance cultures
• Foster innovation by applying client and market experience to EY service delivery

Key requirements

• Accountancy qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• Experience in assurance, consulting or transformation roles within Big 4, consulting firms, or industry
• Experience in R2R, Financial Close, Consolidation/Reporting; finance transformation and change programmes
• Experience with data analytics, data warehousing, ETL, and visualization for senior stakeholders
• Finance systems design/implementation (ERP SAP/Oracle, EPM SAC/CCH Tagetik, or similar) and/or automation tools (e.g., BlackLine)
• Stakeholder management across Finance and business; regulatory change exposure (SOx) and ESG/reporting familiarity
