Tencent Cloud – Principal/Senior Solution Architect – EdgeOne

Overview

In this role you will drive Tencent Cloud product adoption, translating customer needs into tailored solutions. You’ll align product, engineering and business teams to deliver secure, high-performance outcomes and demonstrate value through POCs and implementations. You’ll train internal and external stakeholders, manage cross-geo initiatives, and coordinate programs to boost service efficiency. This opportunity sits within CSIG, helping customers in diverse industries leverage cloud, AI and security to reshape digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive Tencent Cloud product adoption and craft solution proposals for opportunities
• Lead and manage POC projects, implementations and value demonstrations
• Train and enable internal teams and external partners on Tencent Cloud products
• Monitor and resolve customer issues related to Tencent Cloud security and performance
• Coordinate cross-geo teams and programs to improve service efficiency
• Clarify requirements and build strong partner relationships to drive business objectives
• Collaborate with engineering to implement new or updated tools for teams and processes
• Identify and mitigate risks from inter-team dependencies

Key requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills
• Customer-facing IT industry experience (Solution Engineer/Architect, Product Specialist, or Technical PM)
• Knowledge of cloud security, content delivery, security event management and site performance
• Understanding of project management concepts and implementation concepts for web/IT security
• Knowledge of network protocols (IP, DNS, HTTP, TCP) and web architecture
• Willingness to travel ~10%
