Overview
In this role you join a leading US law firm’s REF team to handle lender- and sponsor-side real estate finance matters. You will work on high-value development loans, including origination, bridge and mezzanine lending, and securitization (CMBS/RMBS), as well as loan portfolio acquisitions. You also support formation and structuring of pooled real estate funds and vehicles (partnerships, JVs). You’ll operate within an international, market-leading team in the City, handling flagship transactions. This is an opportunity to shape complex financing in a prestigious, global platform.
Responsibilities
- Handle lender- and sponsor-side real estate finance transactions
- Work on development loans including origination, bridge and mezzanine loans
- Involves CMBS/RMBS, securitization
- Manage loan portfolio acquisitions
- Formation and structuring of pooled real estate funds and vehicles (partnerships, JVs)
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- 3-5 PQE in Real Estate Finance (REF)
- Experience within a respected real estate finance team
- Experience with high-value, international transactions
- City law firm experience (preferred)
