Junior Full Stack Javascript Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will help build and maintain the pricing analytics library in TypeScript for a cloud-enabled, microservices-based trading platform. You will join a compact, global dev team and collaborate with BAs and Product Designers to translate business requirements into robust software. You’ll work on challenging pricing and derivatives analytics in a fast-paced fintech environment, with opportunities to shape tooling and architecture. This role offers remote work and a clear path for growth within a renowned trading platform vendor.

Responsibilities

• Code changes based on design specs
• Perform thorough unit testing
• Proactively raise risks and issues
• Regularly report progress to manager
• Collaborate with BAs and Product Designers to ensure requirements are understood
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and resourceful work practices

Key requirements

• 3 years experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React, Bootstrap or Node.js
• TypeScript
• Experience with SQL Server and MongoDB
• Experience with REST APIs in a microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SaaS design patterns and best practices
