Linux Systems Administrator – Trading systems

Overview

In this role you support the core infrastructure underpinning leading trading systems for banks and institutional clients. You will join a fast-paced Support team, collaborating with sales and engineering to keep mission-critical systems stable. You’ll tackle incident analysis, automation, and global datacentre management, shaping reliability for frontline trading workflows. This is an opportunity to impact infrastructure at scale within a fintech leader.

Responsibilities

• Respond to infrastructure and network inquiries from clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve server issues and network connectivity problems for customers
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Analyze server failures and implement preventive solutions
• Automate server deployment
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain globally distributed datacentre infrastructure

Key requirements

• 2+ years’ experience supporting mission critical infrastructure
• Red Hat Linux Certification or equivalent
• comfortable on the command line
• Hardware setup and maintenance experience
• Some networking experience
• Virtualisation (VMware)
