Overview

In this role, you will elevate Interbrand’s profile by shaping senior leaders’ visibility through strategic media relations, social programming, and thought leadership. You will work closely with leaders and external partners to amplify voice while staying authentic to individual perspectives. The position blends internal stakeholder management with external brand positioning, supporting campaigns, events, and speaking opportunities. You will develop strategic thinking on how visibility drives growth and build cross-functional influence across communications disciplines. This is an opportunity to help shape how Interbrand is perceived in the market and drive business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies for senior leaders aligned with global strategy to raise profiles
  • Prepare speaker guides, briefing documents, and follow-up communications
  • Create, schedule and post original content through senior leaders’ channels
  • Manage community engagement including comments, DMs, and interactions
  • Ghostwrite thought leadership content for senior leaders aligned with their voice
  • Maintain consistent tone of voice and creative execution across Interbrand and personal channels
  • Identify speaking engagements for leaders and manage logistics and briefing
  • Collaborate on panel speaker outreach and negotiation
  • Act as contact for external PR partner and coordinate with internal stakeholders
  • Oversee projects commissioned by external PR partner
  • Track ongoing PR and communications initiatives weekly
  • Collaborate on press releases and media kits
  • Monitor and share press mentions internally
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with broader plan
  • Create dashboards to track PR and social activities
  • Develop relationships with industry contacts in PR, events and media
  • Share potential leads with growth community and identify opportunities
  • Prepare internal communications and collateral to engage employees

Key requirements

  • Background in PR, communications, marketing or related fields
  • Familiarity with media landscape, social platforms, and metrics/analytics
  • Understanding of how visibility and positioning drive business outcomes
  • Ability to connect content and opportunities to strategic goals
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders and external partners
  • Clear communication, coordination across teams, and ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • Experience in tracking multiple initiatives and identifying improvements
