Research Director, Policy

Overview

In this role you will lead NAVLIN Insights’ policy offerings, shaping global pricing, reimbursement, and policy intelligence for biopharma clients. You’ll oversee policy services, supervise a daily news team, and act as a senior client-facing expert to drive strategic consulting and business development. You will also explore AI-powered approaches to enhance efficiency and create differentiated NAVLIN products. This position sits at the intersection of policy expertise, client engagement, and commercial growth, with a global scope and opportunities to influence scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NAVLIN Daily team delivering daily policy-related news to thousands of users
• Provide policy intelligence leadership on MFN tracking and global pricing/reimbursement monitoring
• Oversee delivery of timely, high-quality policy intelligence content and client support
• Translate complex policy developments into clear, actionable insights for clients
• Present policy insights to biopharma clients and lead client briefings, webinars, and other engagements
• Support business development, identify market opportunities, and partner with commercial teams to grow revenue
• Contribute to EVERSANA consulting engagements including pricing and market access strategy
• Explore AI and automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and new AI-enabled NAVLIN offerings

Key requirements

• 6–10+ years in health policy, market access, pricing & reimbursement or related fields
• Analytical mindset with understanding of global pharmaceutical policy landscape
• Proven client-facing experience (consulting, advisory, or industry)
• Ability to translate policy into business implications and communicate clearly
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with data analytics or AI-enabled workflows
