Private Client Solicitor – Northampton

Overview

In this role you will join a well-established regional private client team in Northampton to manage estates and wealth planning matters. You will handle estates administration, wills drafting and attestation, and provide tax guidance on Inheritance Tax, Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax, alongside drafting trusts and powers of attorney. You will advise on Lasting Power of Attorney and Court of Protection matters while developing business and contributing to the firm’s growth. Responsibilities

• Administration of estates from start to finish
• Drafting, preparation and attesting of Wills
• Advising on Inheritance Tax, Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax and Tax Mitigation
• Drafting Trust documents
• Taking instructions and advising on Lasting Power of Attorney
• Drafting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection matters
• Proven experience of business development
