Technical Manager – North London

Responsibilities

• Oversee full working drawings packages
• Coordinate with architectural team to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with commercial and production teams during development
• Manage the technical and design team and coordinate with coordinators
• Question and verify design information across disciplines
• Interpret and negotiate compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and sustainability requirements
• Identify critical paths in project programmes
• Communicate effectively with all disciplines and stakeholders
• Organise people, processes and time to meet project milestones

Key requirements

• Residential developer experience (5+ years) on multiple new-build developments
• Strong knowledge of development/technical design process
• Experience with RC frame and timber frame construction
• Ability to interrogate design information across disciplines
• Architectural background; AutoCAD beneficial
• Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and sustainability
• Ability to interpret and negotiate compliance and project programmes
• Degree level education or relevant professional qualification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and effective team leadership
