Overview
In this role you will oversee multiple residential schemes from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. You will report to the Head of Operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage risks, buildability, and programme aspects. The position emphasizes strong communication, influencing skills, and the development of others, supporting a growing, forward-thinking contractor. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction activities from planning consent to project completion
- Provide input on risks, buildability, and programme from inception to planning consent
- Identify decisions and arrangements required to deliver projects successfully
- Support self-development and development of others
- Demonstrate excellent communication, structural and influencing skills
- Manage multiple schemes concurrently
- Report to the Head of Operations
Key requirements
- 5 years’ experience as Contracts Manager
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
- Highly motivated with a desire to grow within the business
- Problem solver with minimal supervision
- Presentable, customer-facing, punctual and reliable
