Junior .NET Developer

Overview

In this role you will support and extend established .NET systems while contributing to new developments in a collaborative, growth‑oriented team. You will work closely with architects and developers to deliver technically robust solutions, liaising with stakeholders to provide guidance and resolve issues. The position offers exposure to a bespoke web platform and integration with Oracle Siebel CRM, with opportunities to broaden your web technology skills. Responsibilities

• Support and improve existing .NET systems and participate in new development as needed
• Develop work packages to defined timescales and quality standards
• Provide expert technical guidance to customers and stakeholders
• Contribute to designs and documentation for system support and development
• Represent the team in change management meetings occasionally

Key requirements

• Proven web application development experience
• Previous .NET development experience
• Experience with web services using WCF
• Knowledge of Windows services
• JavaScript proficiency
• Strong .NET development practices and reusable code
• SQL skills including stored procedures and query optimisation
• Experience with XML and XSD
• Ability to work with change management processes
• Interest in expanding into broader web technologies
