Senior Project Controls Manager – Nuclear New Build

Overview

In this PMO and Project Controls-focused role within the SZC team, you will design and lead PMO frameworks to ensure effective cost, schedule, risk and reporting across a major UK energy project. You will collaborate with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to promote best practice and drive sustainable delivery. You will mentor teams, support resourcing decisions and help shape long-term PMO strategy. Responsibilities

• Design and implement PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies
• Manage cost, schedule, change, risk and reporting processes
• Oversee PMO administration and governance across projects
• Support senior PMO stakeholders in strategic development for the function/BU
• Mentor and develop project teams; promote knowledge sharing
• Network with clients, contractors, consultancies and stakeholders to promote best practice
• Support resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission via HUB PMO and Project Controls Director

Key requirements

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent
• Extensive delivery-experience in the Energy sector
• Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
• Experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations shape project outlook
