Overview
In this role you will provide compliance advisory support to business teams and senior management, uphold the UK entity framework, and monitor regulatory developments across EMEA. You will collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, and other functions on controls and regulatory implementations. You will develop management information for boards and governance committees. This role is embedded in Global Compliance at Franklin Templeton, a global asset manager known for an inclusive culture and cross-border collaboration. You will help navigate complex regulatory landscapes to safeguard the firm’s reputation and support long-term client outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide compliance advisory support to business teams and senior management
- Maintain the compliance framework for UK entities
- Monitor regulatory developments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
- Prepare regulatory impact assessments and business guidance
- Develop management information for boards and governance committees
- Partner with Legal and Internal Audit on control matters
- Support regulatory implementation projects
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Fund Accounting, Legal, Sales, and Product teams
- Contribute to international compliance initiatives
Key requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
- Compliance experience within asset management.
- Experience working within the UK regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships
- Strong knowledge of UK investment management regulations
- Knowledge of UCITS
- Knowledge of AIFMD
