Data Scientist, GenAI

Overview

In this role, you drive the delivery of Generative AI and data science solutions to support insurance risk management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into production-ready models and systems. You monitor deployed solutions and shape the product roadmap through rigorous evaluation of LLMs and data quality. This is a high-impact position at a global insurer pushing GenAI at scale, offering leadership and technical influence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver data science and GenAI solutions aligned with business requirements
• Monitor and maintain production AI systems
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and business leaders
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure LLM efficacy and data quality to inform roadmap

Key requirements

• Experience building Generative AI solutions (prompt engineering, RAG, validation pipelines, observability)
• Strong background in Python-based data science in an agile, production-focused environment (defect triage, RCA, fixes)
• Palantir experience or certification is preferred
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
