MEP Coordination Engineer – Manchester

Overview

In this BIM Coordinator role, you will lead the delivery of coordinated MEP models for diverse, technically complex infrastructure projects in the UK. You’ll apply UK BIM Framework standards to produce and QA Revit and AutoCAD outputs, collaborating with engineers and BIM leads to ensure buildable designs. The role supports project teams across defence, healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors, driving efficient, clash-free design coordination. This is a high-impact chance to shape digital delivery and reduce risk on major schemes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated MEP models in Revit and AutoCAD; interrogate models to resolve clashes and ensure buildability
• Apply UK BIM Framework standards and internal QA processes to meet project requirements
• Produce accurate drawings, schematics and model data from engineering mark-ups
• Perform model checks using interference and QA tools and maintain structured file management
• Collaborate with engineers and BIM leadership to support a high-performing project environment

Key requirements

• Strong experience using Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
• Exposure to Navisworks, MagiCAD or Solibri (beneficial)
• Solid understanding of MEP systems and installation; some site experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and workload management skills
• Eligibility for SC clearance
• Based in Manchester, Leeds or Edinburgh with hybrid working
• Willingness to travel to office/site locations in the UK
