Overview

In this role you will deliver proactive tax advisory for owner-managed businesses and private clients, overseeing complex projects such as restructuring and succession planning. You will work with a collaborative team to grow the firm’s tax offering and support clients through HMRC processes. The role combines hands-on advisory work with mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development. Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive tax advice to owner-managed businesses, shareholders and private clients
  • Manage complex advisory projects including restructuring, succession planning, share schemes and employee incentives
  • Advise on inheritance tax planning, trusts and estates matters
  • Support clients through HMRC enquiries and manage technical risk
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s tax offering

Key requirements

  • CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience in a tax advisory-focused role
  • Strong experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients
  • Broad exposure to corporate, personal and shareholder tax matters
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Commercial and solutions-focused approach
