In this role, you will manage a diverse civil litigation caseload and provide informed advice to clients, including drafting documents and representing them in court when needed. You will work within a established law firm to support client outcomes and contribute to timely matter progression. The position involves handling pre-litigation steps, debt recovery, and landlord-tenant disputes while maintaining deadlines and quality. A key focus is leveraging networking to support firm growth and local visibility.

Responsibilities
- Manage a varied civil litigation caseload, including employment, landlord-tenant, commercial disputes and debt recovery
- Advise clients and draft/prepare legal documents
- Represent clients in court as needed and manage pre-litigation steps
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and effective file management
- Participate in business development and marketing to support the firm’s growth
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in litigation
- Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently
- Proficient in using case management systems (training available)
- Interest in networking and promoting the firm locally
- Experience in Land & Tenant matters would be beneficial
