Overview

In this role you will own the commercial plan for Tesco, aligning with Ferrero’s objectives and Tesco’s priorities. You’ll build trusted relationships with Tesco stakeholders, turning insights into action to drive sustainable, profitable growth. You will lead negotiations, manage performance, and contribute to the Joint Business Plan across cross-functional teams. The role offers visibility within a high-profile partnership and the opportunity to shape long-term strategic growth with Tesco. You’ll combine commercial discipline with strategic thinking to deliver strong execution and value for both Ferrero and Tesco.

Responsibilities

  • Own and align the commercial plan for Tesco with Ferrero’s strategy
  • Build strong relationships with Tesco stakeholders and identify mutual value opportunities
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to balance customer and Ferrero objectives
  • Monitor account performance (sales, volume, profitability, promotions, forecasting) and translate risks/opportunities into actions
  • Contribute to the Joint Business Plan using customer, category, shopper, and insights
  • Collaborate with Category, Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Marketing to ensure robust, customer-focused plans
  • Plan and evaluate promotions to ensure investment meets customer and brand goals
  • Provide forecasting and performance insights to inform decisions

Key requirements

  • Experienced commercial professional with FMCG / UK grocery experience
  • Track record with major national grocery customers or complex accounts
  • Strong analytical capability with P&L, pricing, promotions, forecasting, volume and profitability focus
  • Data-driven mindset to translate insights into actions
  • Strong relationship builder and credible negotiator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to balance customer needs with business priorities and take ownership
