Continuous Improvement Manager

Overview

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead operational excellence across Bodycote’s UK HIP and Precision Heat Treatment operations. You’ll collaborate with site leaders to remove bottlenecks, raise productivity, quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction. You’ll apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving to deliver measurable improvements and lasting financial and operational benefits. This role spans multiple UK sites and offers exposure to international projects within a global, inclusive culture. You’ll shape manufacturing performance and drive a sustainability-driven transformation across the business.

Responsibilities

• Champion operational excellence across UK HIP and Precision Heat Treatment operations
• Lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Collaborate with operational leaders across multiple UK sites to identify opportunities and remove bottlenecks
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities and coach teams in Lean best practices
• Analyse performance data and drive a culture of operational excellence
• Ensure improvement initiatives deliver lasting financial and operational benefits

Key requirements

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
